He completed his MBBS from Rural Medical College, Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik, followed by Diploma in Anaesthesiology (DA) from Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College and Hospital, Sion, Mumbai. He then pursued his DNB in Anaesthesiology at Max Super Specialty Hospital, New Delhi, and obtained the prestigious D.M. in Pain Medicine from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi — India’s apex medical institution.
Dr. Gupta is among the first few physicians in India to be awarded the D.M. in Pain Medicine degree and is recognized as the 9th person in the country to have achieved this distinction. He has undergone structured and comprehensive training in Pain Medicine at AIIMS Rishikesh encompassing advanced interventional techniques, pain physiology, pharmacotherapy, and multidisciplinary pain care approaches.
Dr. Gupta has also earned multiple fellowships and certifications including:
